In this full-time role, you’ll be a pivotal member of our Philanthropy team reporting to our National Development Manager. You’ll nurture relationships with individual supporters, businesses, grant managers and trustees, and inspire them to give generously to help families lift themselves out of poverty. You’ll give awesome presentations and organise life-changing events. You’ll be living in Sydney and occasionally travelling to regional areas of NSW. Sometimes you’ll travel overseas to see for yourself how your passion and drive are helping families live free from poverty.

Your skills and attributes
You’ll have big ideas and even bigger talent, building strong relationships as part of the Philanthropy team, you are a strong communicator. You’ll be motivated to discover new potential supporters and nurture mutually beneficial relationships. You can navigate your way around a CRM and keep it up-to-date. Your confident, proactive, mature and professional approach, coupled with the ability to work in alignment with the values of the Christian ethos that motivates Opportunity, will be key to your outstanding success.
