From the first time I was introduced to Opportunity and saw what real poverty looked like and how the power of small amounts of money and mentoring could transform the lives of poor families, I knew I had found a purpose worth giving away executive life to support” - Terry Winters
Current Opportunity Council Member Dr Timothy Wright also received an AM for his significant service to primary and secondary education, and to professional associations. The former Principal at SHORE, and other independent schools, Timothy joined the Opportunity Council in 2019 as he retired from teaching. He has been a leader in boys’ education for many decades.
