WHAT A TYPICAL INSIGHT TRIP LOOKS LIKE
On an Opportunity Insight Trip, you’ll spend time with program experts and local hosts who know the culture inside out – their personal perspectives will give you an intimate understanding of local life. Best of all, you'll be able to visit families and see firsthand just how much small loans are transforming their lives and strengthening their communities.
Cost - A typical trip costs between $1500-$1800 and includes accommodation, meals, bottled water, internal flights, tips, transfers and sightseeing. Excluded are international flights, visas, travel insurance and any required immunisations.
Who goes and for how long? - Trips are typically 7-8 days long with 4-10 participants from around Australia. Each trip is accompanied by a least one Opportunity International Australia team member as well as local program staff.
Accommodation - Single, double and twin share rooms in 4 star hotels.
